Our First Post/Podcast — Episode One: ADD Got The Best Of Us

*The Podcast*
So We're N00bs...
Yeah, we're new people to the whole blogger/podcast thing. We were inspired by the Temptation girls, who actually inspired me (MacKenzie) to try a podcast.

By the way, I realize I sound like a total dork for some of it. *Coughmostofitcough* But just ignore that fact because it was kind of a weird thing at the time.
For the entire outline part I'm really kind of winging it, since, you know, we're newbies but I hope you can follow.

Introducing Ourselves:

So first I'd like to say that I know the colors are way too freaking bright. But they're pretty much our favorite colors, so I figured we may as well have them in here.

This part in the podcast is pretty much self-explanatory, but I will put it in a nutshell, if I must. (Plus, this way I get to put in all the stuff we left out, yay.)

  • Our names our Olivia — Olive, if you may — and MacKenzie. Most people who listen to this are probably going to be here by the recommendation of Midnight Freesia, because she posted this iink in her profile updates. (Which, you know, are put there for a reason.) But let's just clear this up, so everyone knows who is who — even though I said it in the podcast, but whatever. MacKenzie is Midnight Freesia, and I'm pretty sure anyone of my Metamorphosis fans who have really good memory — like Bryana, for instance — will remember that that is my name. And Olive is my loving best friend in real life.
  • The name is unoriginal. We know. Okay, well, not exactly unoriginal — more like not very good. We truly couldn't think of anything else — we really couldn't. Also explained more in the next bullet.
  • This podcast is truly all about opinions. It is. The "All In One Talkshow" is all about Olivia and opinions about certain things — like, very popular fandoms, such as literature or tv shows. We actually have written down ideas that we could do episodes on. (You will see as time progresses.) So, comment your opinion, you know, anything you can think of. Your opinions on our opinions, your opinions on what we talked about... Feel free, basically.
  • Also, the editor for the website is MacKenzie. She is kind enough to take time out of her very busy schedule — you will hear her bitch about that in the show, I believe — to put this page together. God bless her. (And yes, she is writing this. But she figures that Olive would already say that.)
Topic Of The Week: Twilight

Okay, so, yeah. We know this is one of the most predictable things two teenage girls would talk about, but like I said: "very popular fandoms, such as literature or tv shows." So, it would only make sense that we would talk about the biggest sensation sweeping the nation: Twilight. (And yes, I realize that sounded incredibly cheesy. I dun care.) Now, since I am incredibly lazy and this is just an outline, I will not describe this crap in detail. Yeah, plus, we haven't even recorded yet... Anyway, onto to what this is meant to be.

Twilight Twenty Questions:

It was not twenty questions. It was ten, not twenty. But I put our answers in here anyway, because I felt like just in case you guy forgot our answers. But I shortened them because I don't have the attention-span to make it more detailed.
  • Q: What is your favorite Twilight character?
O: Alice.
M: Jacob.
  • Q: What is your favorite Twilight Guy?
O: Carlisle. The doctor thing turns me on.
M: Besides Jacob? Seth. He's a cutie.
  • Q: What is your favorite Twilight guy besides any of the wolves or Cullens?
O: Ironically enough, she didn't end up answering in the podcast, but I'm pretty sure it was Mike Newton.
M: Ben Cheney and Alec.
  • Q: What is your favorite Twilight pairing to read/write for?
O: Jalice. Like, ftw.
M: Edella. It's better than Bedward.
*Cue small Olivia rant when I went to the bathroom*
  • Q: Team Edward or Team Jacob? Why?
O: Pairing sake — Edward. Character sake — Jacob.
M: Pairings — Edward. Character — Jacob.
  • Q: What is your favorite crack Twilight pairing?
O: Alice/Jacob or Alice/Carlisle.
M: Jasper/Bella. And at least it's a legible pairing. (ALICE/CARLISLE? WTF?)
  • Q: Do you read Twilight lemons?
Both: Yeah. Pretty much. We have needs too, you know.
  • Q: Favorite Twilight book?
O: Eclipse or Twilight.
M: Eclipse.

  • Q: If you could have any vampire power, what would it be?

O: Precognition. Duh.
M: Jane's power. That shit is good.
  • Q: How did you first get into Twilight?
Both: Our teacher, Ms. Medina. She is awesome — we love you! (Plus Miss Schlipf, who I kind of wish you didn't have to move!)

MacKenzie's Fanfiction Rant:

Pretty self-explanatory. I felt like I should at least explain it a little. It's pretty much where I tell you what stories are made of awesome. This week it's Pre-Twilight/Twilight AU fics. (Plus the other one, but still.)

Oh, and I'd like to note that it took forever to listen to this about three times and mark down what fanfictions I used.

So, yeah. I think I made this whole big deal about editing like a whole different parts out, but I didn't end up doing, simply because I did not know how to do it. So please, try to bear with our ADD-ness and total unrelations to the Twilight at certain times.

I'm also trying to get this on the iTunes podcast, but we're not sure yet...

Also: Sorry about the spoilers to Gadfly that Olive gave. I was going to edit it out.... But then I didn't know how. :/
